Introduction
The NHS Wales Standards and Architecture Group (SAG) is the national body that provides strategic direction, guidance, and oversight for the development, implementation, and maintenance of architectural frameworks and standards across NHS Wales. SAG has the authority to approve national architecture principles, standards, and decisions.
Organisations across NHS Wales, such as DHCW, adopt these national principles and standards, and supplement them with their own local governance, rationale, and implementation detail.
